About Šiauliai
Siauliai are located in Northern part of Lithuania. It is fourth biggest city in the country. City counts its years from the victorious battle of the Sun, which was held in 1236. For centuries, the city devastated by numerous wars, plagues and fires. Only one architectural monument is still there - Renaissance St. Peter and Paul Cathedral. The church tower has unique sundial. On the second half of XVIII c. city started reforming its buildings and areas according to classical principles of architecture.
