About Klaipeda
Klaipėda - the last ice free port in Baltic sea and the only port in Lithuania. From all centuries Klaipeda has been an important trade center: at the beginning of XII c. merchants used to visit Klaipeda. Town was officially established in 1252, after five years got granted Lübeck city rights.
A port city has a lot of resemblance of old architecture in the Nordic countries.
